CommUNITY Voices Music Ministry
Music plays a vital role in our Sunday Celebration services. Our soloists, ensembles, musicians, and special guest performers are an essential element of each service. As a congregation we create a sense of Unity as we lift our voices together in song. Our CommUNITY Voices Ministry team now includes:
CommUNITY Singers (soloists, ensembles & choir)
CommUNITY Players (musicians)
CommUNITY Actors (actors, poets & dancers)
The Director of Music Ministry, Mark Mickel, is a member of the local band “The Pillbugs”. He plays piano, organ and guitar, but on occasion also plays drums, bass, sitar, and trumpet. He writes most of the songs for The Pillbugs and produces/engineers The Pillbugs' albums. His favorite Bands include The Beatles, The Kinks, The Monkees, The Who, Pink Floyd, The Beach Boys and The Rolling Stones.
