Unity of Toledo
A Postive Path for Spiritual Living
3535 Executive Pkwy (near Secor Rd)
Sunday Service 10:30 am
If you are searching for a church where your personal path to spiritual understanding and growth will be respected, honored, and encouraged, you have come to the right place. Many people say that Unity is the “best kept secret” on the planet. Through the pages of this website we share that secret. So, if you are not familiar with Unity or with Unity of Toledo, we invite you to explore these pages and learn more about us. Check out the About Us page to become familiar with the Worldwide Unity message and with Unity of Toledo in particular.
We who call Unity of Toledo our church home have come from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. But we have all been drawn to Unity for similar reasons. At Unity we find a place that “feels like home”, It is a place where we each feel encouraged to explore our own unique expressions of spiritual Truth and to grow in spirit at our own speed in our own way and guided by our own inner knowing. In Unity we are each encouraged to seek our own answers to universal questions such as: Is there a God? If so, what is the nature of God? What is the purpose of life?
How can I learn to incorporate Truth into my everyday life?
If you have searched long and hard to find answers to similar questions and have been discouraged by the some of the pat answers society gives, you may find Unity a refreshing and different experience. Whether you are looking for a place to explore the deeper questions of life, a place to connect with like-minded others on similar spiritual journeys, a place where your unique gifts and talents are valued as you put them to use to make the world a better place, or just a sacred sanctuary where you can relax and renew yourself, you are welcome here.
Please enter and see what Unity of Toledo has to offer you.
You're invited to join us for Adult & Children's Church at 10:30 am

THE NEW LOVE EXPRESS
Rock Your Sunday at Unity of Toledo!
~ Spiritual Experiences will be offered to the Toledo community each Wednesday ~
At Unity of Toledo, on Wednesday October 1st the schedule will begin and repeat each month.
Experiences will be from 7:00pm to 9:00pm for a love offering donation.
1st Wednesday - Silent Meditation led by Leigh Macaro
2nd Wednesday - Dances of Universal Peace led by Judy Trautman
Come experience this deeply powerful practice of reconnecting with our boundless universe through stilling our minds. We will sit together in silence(or with soft music if the group finds it helpful) for ninety minutes, knowing we give each other permission to move about as needed without
breaking the silence. If you are new to silent meditative practice or looking for a new way to approach your stillness meditation please come at least ten minutes early so we can look at a few different options and find one to suit.
The Dances of Universal Peace are simple, meditative, joyous, multi-cultural circle dances that use sacred phrases, chants, music and movements from the many spiritual traditions of the earth to touch the spiritual essence within ourselves and recognize it in others.
No experience necessary.
Judy Trautman has led a dance circle in Ann Arbor for 5 years as well as a Toledo dance circle.
3rd Wednesday - Sacred Art led by Diane Travis
Mandalas are some of the most ancient art forms created by human beings. You may choose to color a printed mandala or draw your own to color. Creating a mandala allows you to quiet our mind and further your personal growth or healing processes.
No experience needed; all materials provided. Ages 18 and up.
4th Wednesday - Drumming led by Kelli Sanford
On the 5th Wednesdays in October and April labyrinth walks will be led on
The meditative drum circle is a prayer or intention-centered meditative experience. We will begin by clarifying and anchoring our intentions (peace, healing, etc for ourselves or others), those things we would like to take in to the drummming. As we begin to drum, we know that the drum beats will take the circle where it needs to go for each intention stated, for the highest good of all.
Bring a drum or rattle if you have one, we will have a few available. If you have extras that
you feel comfortable sharing we would be deeply grateful if you'd bring them along to help guard against folks missing the experience.
Unity’s Eagle’s Path labyrinth.
We hope you will join us and share the consciousness that these experiences provide.
